Your mission:

 

  • Lead Mondi’s global payroll transformation and landscape optimization program, coordinating multi-country initiatives in partnership with internal stakeholders, partners, and local teams.

 

  • Manage the end-to-end implementation lifecycle, from project planning and initiation through implementation, testing, stabilization, and transition to operational teams.

 

  • Coordinate country rollouts across multiple implementation waves, ensuring effective collaboration between local teams, global project resources, and delivery partners.

 

  • Ensure timely delivery of project milestones while maintaining defined quality standards and budget expectations.

 

  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with external partners and internal stakeholders to support the successful delivery of payroll transformation initiatives.

 

  • Support the design and establishment of the payroll organization within the People Operations Model.

 

  • Collaborate closely with key transformation stakeholders, including the respective Workstream Leads and the overall HR Transformation implementation lead.

 

  • Drive the implementation of Mondi’s global Payroll Enterprise Standard and governance framework, supporting the harmonization and standardization of payroll processes across countries.

 

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal policies across the full payroll lifecycle, from inputs and processing to outputs and reporting.

 

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including blueprints, status reports, training materials, process documentation, test scripts, and progress updates.

 

  • Serve as the escalation point for key business stakeholders and partner leadership during the implementation process.

 

  • Establish robust reporting and performance tracking, including KPI dashboards and ad-hoc reporting to monitor project progress and payroll performance.

 

  • Leverage technology and digital tools to optimize payroll processes, enhance efficiency, and ensure data accuracy and integrity.

 

 

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

 

  • Minimum 5 years of payroll management experience combined with at least 5 years of project management experience, ideally within international environments.

 

  • Proven track record in leading payroll transformation or payroll implementation projects.

 

  • Strong project management and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across countries and functions.

 

  • Experience working with payroll partners and shared services environments.

 

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

 

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage tight timelines in complex transformation projects.

 

  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement and standardization.

 

  • Business fluent in English; German and Spanish are an advantage.
