Your mission:

  • Be the first point of contact in Mondi for topics related to the sustainability of our products
  • Lead collaboration and alignment of relevant colleagues in the businesses regarding product sustainability and in line with Mondi’s EcoSolutions customer-centric approach
  • Develop and maintain Mondi’s sustainable product criteria and track improved performance
  • Co-ordinate and engage with the Group-wide product stewardship network
  • Guide sales and marketing teams in their response to customers’ sustainability related requests
  • Act as an enabler for the sales and marketing teams to ensure consistent approach to delivering sustainable product solutions to our customers
  • Collaborate in the development of sustainability related product and supply chain communications including SD annual reporting
  • Engage with external stakeholders on joint projects
  • Monitor and advise internally on regulatory changes that may impact our businesses and products and facilitate a co-ordinated response across Mondi
     

Your profile:

  • More than 5 years experience in an international B2B or FMCG business with a focus on product sustainability
  • Evidence of broad knowledge of sustainable development issues is essential, with specific knowledge of the sustainability aspects related to flexible packaging and/or fibre-based products an advantage
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with teams from a variety of cultures and disciplines, as well as external partners
  • Ability to work independently, accurately and organised on multiple projects at once while maintaining quality standards, deadlines and good humour
  • Ability to assimilate a complex variety of factors and translate this into a simple clear plan of action
  • Conceptual and analytical skills, strategic thinking
  • Fluent English mandatory, German an advantage

 

Our offer:

  • Start: immediate start date possible, considering your availability (e.g. notice period)
  • Location: Group office Vienna – Marxergasse 4A, 1030 Vienna
  • Duration: unlimited contract
  • Extent: full-time, 38 hours/week, all-in contract
  • We offer a minimum compensation package starting at € 50,000 gross/year on a full-time basis (38 hours/week), with the opportunity of overpayment depending on your experience, skills and qualification.
