SHE Manager (f/m/x)

Your mission:
- Provide strategic direction and support to business segment and plant Safety, Health and Environmental related activities to ensure compliance with local, governmental, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and Mondi regulations, supporting the Business Unit’s (BU) SHE Manager where required.
- Coordinate, participate and present SHE BU topics, including different initiatives, activities, business continuity risks etc. with Segment COO/MD & BU SHE Manager, while collaborating with the SHE networks and working groups throughout.
- Provide continuous training and coaching in the social psychology of risk tools, including the engagement board process, making use of the engagement board process during site visits.
- Conduct regular visits to plants globally while covering audits, status visits, incident investigation, training such as initiation of new plant SHE Coordinators and MDs, coaching, etc.
- Provide additional support (1 visit every 2 months) to designated focus plants, providing feedback to the site management teams on the outcomes of the visits.
- Where needed, support incident reporting and investigation following the Managing Incidents Conversation and Engagement (MICE) Practice Note.
- Checking of quality of incident investigation management reports and incident notices, including the engagement board process, prior approving and provide continuous guidance where required.
Your profile:
- Formal education as a Safety Specialist, or at least the NEBOSH general certificate in combination with a general degree; knowledge of relevant local legislations, or ISO 45001/14001 standards are mandatory.
- 10+ years of experience in leading and working as SHE Specialist in a manufacturing environment.
- Confidence to interact with stakeholders at all levels, excellent communication, interpersonal and multi-cultural skills.
- Hands-on mentality with the ability to empower people, set objectives, and achieve results.
- Willingness to travel globally on a regular basis.

- For Austria, we offer a compensation package starting at ~ € 56,000.00 gross/year on a full-time basis (38 hours/week), with the opportunity of overpayment depending on your experience, skills, and qualification.
