Regional Sales Director | Specialty Kraft Paper | Southern & Central Europe

About the Role

Mondi is seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead commercial strategy and execution for our Specialty Kraft Paper (SpKP) business across Southern & Central Europe. This role owns the regional sales P&L, customer relationships, and go-to-market strategy for a portfolio of specialty kraft paper grades, working closely with the sales director, regional sales managers, mills, supply chain, and product teams to drive profitable growth.

 

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Drive and execute the Specialty Kraft Paper commercial strategy across Southern & Central Europe.
  • Own regional sales performance, including P&L, pricing, and margin optimization.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing sales team to achieve ambitious growth targets.
  • Build strategic customer partnerships and lead key contract negotiations.
  • Use market insights and commercial data to identify growth opportunities and shape business decisions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics to stay ahead of industry developments.
  • Collaborate with mills, supply chain, and technical teams to deliver outstanding customer solutions.
  • Expand Mondi's market presence by developing new applications, segments, and business opportunities.

 

 

Your Profile

  • Significant experience in B2B sales leadership, ideally in paper, packaging, or related industrial materials.
  • Proven track record building and executing regional commercial strategy.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven approach to decision making.
  • Experience managing key accounts and cross-functional stakeholders in an international matrix organization.
  • Fluency in English; additional European language a plus.
  • Willingness to travel across Southern & Central Europe.
