Regional Sales Director | Specialty Kraft Paper | Mediterranean, Middle East & Africa

About the Role

Mondi is seeking a Regional Head to lead the Specialty Kraft Paper (SpKP) business across the Mediterranean, Middle East & Africa. This is an agent/distributor-led region. The role centers on managing, developing, and growing performance through a network of sales agents and distributors, while building direct relationships with strategic end customers where relevant. The role owns regional commercial strategy, agent network performance, and P&L for the territory.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the commercial strategy across the Mediterranean, Middle East & Africa to drive profitable growth.
  • Lead, develop, and manage a network of sales agents and distributors, setting clear targets and performance expectations.
  • Own regional sales performance, including pricing strategy, profitability, and revenue growth.
  • Build strong partnerships with agents, customers, and key stakeholders across the region.
  • Use market insights and sales data to identify opportunities, prioritize markets, and support business decisions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to strengthen Mondi's market position.
  • Work closely with production, supply chain, finance, and customer service teams to deliver reliable customer solutions.
  • Identify new business opportunities, expand into new markets, and represent Mondi with customers and at industry events across the region.

 

 

Your Profile

  • Significant experience in B2B sales leadership, ideally in paper, packaging, or industrial materials.
  • Proven track record managing agent/distributor networks across emerging and diverse markets.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven approach to decision making.
  • Experience navigating complex, multi-country regulatory, logistics, and payment environments (Middle East and Africa experience strongly preferred).
  • Fluency in English; Arabic, Turkish, French, or Greek a strong plus.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the region.
