Regional Sales Director (f/m/x) | Specialty Kraft Paper | Western Europe & Nordics

About the Role

Mondi is seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead commercial strategy and execution for our Specialty Kraft Paper (SpKP) business across Western Europe and the Nordics. This role owns the regional sales P&L, customer relationships, and go-to-market strategy for a portfolio of specialty kraft paper grades, working closely with the sales director, regional sales managers, mills, supply chain, and product teams to drive profitable growth.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the Specialty Kraft Paper commercial strategy across Western Europe and the Nordics to deliver sustainable growth.
  • Own regional sales performance, including P&L responsibility, pricing strategy, and margin optimization.
  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Strengthen strategic customer partnerships, leading key account development, contract negotiations, and long-term agreements.
  • Leverage market intelligence, customer insights, and commercial data to identify growth opportunities and guide decision-making.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and industry developments to maintain a strong market position.
  • Collaborate closely with production sites, supply chain, and technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction and operational alignment.
  • Drive business expansion through new applications, customer segments, and strategic opportunities while representing Mondi with key customers and industry stakeholders.

 

 

Your Profile

  • Significant experience in B2B sales leadership, ideally in paper, packaging, or related industrial materials.
  • Proven track record building and executing regional commercial strategy.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven approach to decision making.
  • Experience managing key accounts and cross-functional stakeholders in an international matrix organization.
  • Fluency in English; additional European or Nordic language a plus.
  • Willingness to travel across Western Europe and the Nordics.
