Product Development Manager (f/m/x)

Your Tasks:

Trigger ideation of new paper-based concepts including patentability
Steering and guiding of product development projects on a central level in transition from plastic-based to paper packaging in consumer applications with the involved plants and application engineers/Technical Account Managers
Coordination and overview of activities with customer
Market, technology and patent monitoring of competitors in paper-based packaging
Definition of roadmap for plants of a dedicated businesss unit into paper base packaging solutions in consumer applications
Dedicated contact for sales, business development and for key accounts
Foster co-operation among stakeholder and teams across the organisation, incl. the Business Unit R&D Center in Steinfeld, Technical Account Managers, Sales, Business development and Customers

Your profile:

Technical engineering/material sciences on university level with preference for paper and coating technology and/or plastic technology
Some years of experience in paper and coating industry/packaging industry/FMCG markets
Min. 5 years of work experience in business
Systematic and well organised style of working
Fluency in English (oral and written), additional language skills are seen as assets
Travel readiness 50% (mainly Europe)

Duration: unlimited contract
Extent: full-time, 38 hours/week, all-in contract
We offer a compensation package starting at € 36.792 gross/year on a full-time basis (38 hours/week), with the opportunity of overpayment depending on your experience, skills, and qualification.
