Your mission

  • work along the entire corporate development value chain – from M&A to PMI – of Mondi Group, one of the global leaders in paper and packaging, reporting to the Group Head of Corporate Development
  • originate and evaluate investment opportunities for Mondi Group and our Business Units
  • independently execute M&A projects globally, coordinating due diligence and valuation across our internal teams as well as external advisors
  • negotiate with business partners to maximise value and minimise risk to Mondi Group
  • support the post-merger integration into Mondi Group of acquired businesses
  • contribute to our strategy process and translate strategic priorities into our M&A effort

 

Your profile

  • 5+ years of professional experience in “bulge bracket” M&A, renowned M&A boutique or leading strategy consultancy
  • proven ability to work effectively, both independently and as a member of a dynamic team
  • passion for continuous learning, critical thinking and sound judgement
  • University degree in Economics or Management/Business Studies
  • Business fluent in English, German or CEE languages considered a plus
  • commercial thinking, excellent communication and intercultural skills 
  • excellent grasp of corporate finance concepts including customary valuation techniques 
  • good understanding of commercial arrangements and legal agreements 
  • proven leadership in consulting and project management with a result-driven attitude 
  • effective multi-tasking in a fast-paced corporate environment
  • willingness to travel up to 50% 

 

Our offer

  • Start: immediate start date possible, considering your availability (e.g. notice period)
  • Location: Group office Vienna – Marxergasse 4A, 1030 Vienna
  • Duration: unlimited contract
  • Extent: full-time, 38 hours/week, all-in contract
  • We offer a minimum compensation package starting at € 80,000 gross/year on a full-time basis (38 hours/week), with the opportunity of overpayment depending on your experience, skills and qualification.
