Head of R&D Kraft Paper (f/m/x)

Your mission:

In this position not only will you develop but also execute R&D projects to facilitate the transition to paper-based packaging;
You will develop new paper grades for new applications in strategic markets as well as enhance the usage of existing internally produced papers for R&D projects along our value chain;
In collaboration with the paper mill operations as well as project departments, you will introduce new technologies into the paper machines of our Business Unit;
You will lead R&D Kraft paper teams spread throughout different countries such as Czech Republic, Sweden, Bulgaria, Austria and Slovakia to foster an environment of collaboration with R&D, operational and sales teams within and across the segments.

Your profile:

University degree in paper science, wood or material science, chemical technology or chemistry
5+ years of relevant work experience or a similar position, ideally within the paper and packing sector
Extensive Experience in R&D project execution
Open-minded, creative, while keeping an analytical mindset
Willingness to travel up to 50%
Fluency in English, any other language is considered an asset.

Duration: unlimited contract
Extent: full-time, 38 hours / week, all-in contract
We offer a compensation package starting at € 65.000 gross/year on a full-time basis (38 hours/week), with the opportunity of overpayment depending on your experience, skills and qualification.
