Purpose of the Role
To build, run, and continuously improve Mondi enterprise global compensation infrastructure, ensuring consistent execution, strong governance, data integrity, and operational excellence across all countries and businesses.
Your Mission
- Own and govern Mondi’s global job architecture.
- Develop, maintain and refresh global salary range structures across all countries, ensuring market competitiveness and alignment to the job architecture.
- Develop and lead execution of core compensation processes — annual compensation review, bonus planning, and off-cycle salary actions — ensuring accuracy, control, and global consistency.
- Manage global benchmarking and market insights, including survey participation, market data consolidation and modelling.
- Drive compensation data governance and digitization in SuccessFactors, including data definitions, controls, validation and reporting accuracy.
- Build and maintain Mondi’s pay equity analysis and transparency readiness, including data models, reporting logic, and support for employee query handling.
- Establish compensation governance, guardrails, and internal controls, ensuring compliance, audit readiness, and disciplined decision-making across the enterprise.
- Enable Total Rewards Business Partners and HRs with tools, templates, and capability-building, supporting consistent application of compensation frameworks.
- Identify and lead process optimization and standardization opportunities, shaping a scalable, repeatable compensation operating model.
Your Profile
- 10+ years in Compensation/Total Rewards with global or multi-country scope
- Proven leadership of annual compensation cycles, off cycle management and salary structure management
- Strong experience in job architecture, salary range design and benchmarking methodology
- Hands-on exposures to the HRIS/comp systems (ideally SuccessFactors
- Experience working in compliance- or regulatory-driven environments (EU pay transparency a plus)
- Exceptional analytical and data governance capability
- Demonstrated ability to standardize processes and embed governance across regions
- Strong stakeholder engagement across HR, Finance, and business leadership
- Track record designing Total Rewards frameworks and driving successful implementation
- Enterprise-first mindset, with sound judgement and confidence to uphold guardrails
- Detail-oriented, disciplined and execution-focused working style
Languages:
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- German and/or other language would be an advantage
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field
