Your mission:

  • Be the expert in the project team for Electrical Engineering and responsible for the development, design, installation and commissioning of electrical power generation and distribution equipment as well as electrical consumers and devices.
  • Understand project scope & complexity and work collaboratively with design engineers, operation engineers, purchasers and other internal & external project partners to create the most effective solution in terms of process, cost and schedule.
  • Design and review structures of electrical power distribution systems on High-, Medium- and Low Voltage level like connections to utility supply lines, switchgears, transformers, generators, reactors and reactive power compensation equipment. Specify main components on power consumer side like MCCs, motors, variable frequency drives, cables, ducts and connectors.
  • Be familiar with applicable international standards for electrical protection systems, earthing of equipment and buildings, lightning protection and other systems used in industrial plant electrification. 
  • Support the Group activities to establish harmonised electrical standards for all international locations and participate in the international Group electrical expert team.
  • HAZOPs, ATEX reviews, SIL assessments and Interlock reviews next to development of Functional Specifications and User Requirements Specifications when needed are a part of your duty.

Your profile:

  • Education in Electrical Engineering (high school / university)
  • 8+ years’ experience in plant engineering and construction projects
  • Knowledge about electrical networks from 400V to 145kV
  • Basic knowledge about fieldbus systems 
  • Practical on-site experience is a plus 
  • Structured, process-oriented working style paired with a pronounced analytical & technical understanding
  • Excellent English and IT skills (MS office & project, AutoCAD)
  • Flexibility in terms of working location and willingness to go on assignment if needed (several months up to 2-3 years)


Our offer:

  • Start: immediate start date possible, considering your availability (e.g. notice period)
  • Location: Group office Vienna – Marxergasse 4A, 1030 Vienna
  • Duration: unlimited/limited contract
  • Extent: full-time, 38 hours/week, all-in contract
  • We offer a minimum compensation package starting at € 50,000 gross/year on a full-time basis (38 hours/week), with the opportunity of overpayment depending on your experience, skills and qualification.
