Role Summary:
The Commercial Manager serves as a strategic business partner for the Business Segment (BS) eCommerce and eCom-producing plant stakeholders. This role is responsible for driving commercial excellence, improving financial performance, and supporting the strategic growth of Mondi’s eCom business. The position ensures robust alignment between financial targets and operational execution while fostering close internal and external collaboration.
Your mission:
- Act as a commercial business partner to eCom and eCom-producing plants, guiding strategic and operational commercial activities.
- Align and coordinate commercial calculations and offers for the Mondi eCom International Key Account product portfolio.
- Guide local plants in developing accurate, competitive commercial offers and pricing for their respective markets.
- Drive commercial excellence across the eCom segment and its stakeholders, ensuring consistency, transparency, and competitiveness.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and margin improvement across the product and customer portfolio.
- Partner with the finance team to support financial planning, including profitability analysis, monthly and annual forecasting, and budgeting processes.
- Monitor eCom customer credit limits and risks, providing strategic guidance to the sales team for effective risk management and receivables collection.
- Foster strong, trusting relationships with internal departments and external customers through close collaboration and proactive engagement.
- Oversee contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with company policies.
- Support commercial growth initiatives and contribute to shaping the strategic direction of the Mondi eCom business.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Extensive experience in commercial or business partnering roles, preferably in a B2B manufacturing or eCommerce-related environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, pricing strategies, and commercial operations.
- Proven experience in margin management, cost optimisation, and financial forecasting.
- Solid understanding of credit management, risk assessment, and receivables collection.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.

- We offer a compensation package starting at € 55,000 gross/year on a full-time basis (38 hours/week); The possibility of overpayment depends on the relevance of your previous experience.
