Category Manager Spare & Wear Parts (f/m/x)

Your mission:

  • Develop, implement, and execute effective the Spare and Ware Parts (SWP) sourcing strategies with strong focus on sustainability and competitiveness.
  • Manage and negotiate Mondi Group agreements for the SWP.
  • Ensure contractual framework for cost-efficient and reliable supply of the goods/services.
  • Manage effective communication and alignment between all stakeholders.
  • Ensure the needs of stakeholders in terms of TCO (Total Cost of Ownership), quality, service, innovation, and risk mitigation are met. 
  • Further development of Market Intelligence information and managing of budget initiatives.

 

Your profile:

  • Min. 3-5 years’ work experience in the pulp & paper industry or similar industries would be an advantage, professional experience in an international environment.
  • Economic and/or technical education (University Degree, or other technical education e.g. HTL).
  • Fluency in English including strong negotiation level is required. German and/or other local language would be desirable.
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills with a communicative and open-minded personality.
  • Ability to deal with different cultures and discuss basic technical requirements with mills.
  • Readiness to travel worldwide to paper mills and suppliers (approx. 30%). 
  • Collaborative and supportive team-player and able to prioritize tasks.

  • Location: Group office Vienna or remote work from one of our locations.
  • Duration: unlimited contract
  • Extent: full-time, 38 hours / week, all-in contract
  • We offer a compensation package starting at € 47,000.00 gross/year on a full-time basis (38 hours/week), with the opportunity of overpayment depending on your experience, skills and qualification.
