(Senior) Market Intelligence Manager (f/m/x)

Your mission:  

  • Take the lead for strategic market, competitor and customer analyses for the fibre-based flexible packaging business, and develop market intelligence approaches and tools to the next level  
  • Drive market segmentation, identify new business opportunities, and provide deep dives into specific end markets. Be responsible for market sizing, demand forecasts and supply/demand analyses and evaluating our performance against the market.  
  • Monitor industry news, competitor landscape, market dynamics and trends, and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders. Create compelling reports and presentations to communicate intelligence findings to management.  
  • Support the annual strategy process, new business development and investment projects as well as M&A activities. Initiate and manage own research projects in cross-functional set-up. 
  • Collaborate with various internal stakeholders (e.g., portfolio management, sustainability, marketing, and commercial teams) across different organisational levels (e.g., business unit, business segment, group), including senior management 
  • Build and maintain relationships with external market research companies, industry experts and associations, and participate in relevant industry conferences and events  
  • Manage internal and external market data, intelligence sources, and vendors to “connect the dots” and enable informed decision-making  

  

Your profile:  

  • Master's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related discipline  
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in market intelligence, market research, or strategic analysis within B2B industry environment and/or management consultancy 
  • In-depth knowledge of the fibre-based packaging industry and value chains  
  • Demonstrated ability to design and execute market research studies, surveys and forecasts  
  • Proficiency in using market intelligence, data analysis and visualisation tools  
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills combined with a hands-on attitude  
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, along with adaptability to changing business conditions

  • Duration: unlimited contract
  • Extent: full-time, 38 hours / week, all-in contract 
  • We offer a compensation package starting at € 47.021 gross/year on a full-time basis (38 hours/week), with the opportunity of overpayment depending on your experience, skills, and qualification.
