We are looking for an experienced and driven National Key Account Manager to manage and grow strategic relationships with major clients in the packaging industry. In this role, you will take ownership of key accounts, identify client-specific packaging needs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored, innovative, and sustainable paper-based packaging solutions. Your goal is to serve as a trusted advisor to clients while driving revenue growth and long-term success.

 

Your mission:

  • Manage and grow key accounts in the packaging sector, building strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Act as the main point of contact for key clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Understand client needs related to packaging materials, functionality, sustainability, and performance.
  • Develop a solid pipeline of NKA customers in Central Europe region (including Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, UK) 
  • Drive effective lead and pipeline management, to deliver on the targets.
  • Explore new market opportunities and expand the company's NKA customer base.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling and cross-selling corrugated packaging solutions.
  • Drive the achievement of sales targets and KPIs for the key accounts division.
  • Analyse customer and market data to inform sales approaches and product development.
  • Ensure revenue and performance targets are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market share within existing and new accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams within the Central Europe region (e.g., design, R&D, logistics) to deliver customized, innovative, and environmentally responsible solutions.

 

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years in sales or key account management, ideally in packaging or a related industry.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Proven success in managing national accounts and meeting/exceeding sales targets.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled in collaboration and lateral leadership, working across functions.
  • Excellent presentation and influencing skills at senior levels.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and customer-focused.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (>50%) across Central Europe and Europe.
