As a SHE Coordinator, your will foster a culture of safety, ensure legal compliance, and support the continuous development of safe practices across our operations. You will provide expert guidance on occupational health and safety, implement effective risk mitigation measures, and actively support our employees and managers in creating a safe and engaging work environment.
Your Mission:
- Advise the employer and managers on all matters relating to occupational safety and accident prevention.
- Conduct risk assessments, develop and implement protective measures and safety concepts.
- Provide safety instruction and training to employees to raise awareness and promote safe behaviors.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with occupational safety, fire protection, explosion protection, and hazardous substance regulations.
- Analyze workplace accidents and recommend preventive measures.
- Inspect work equipment and operational facilities prior to commissioning.
- Perform noise measurements and ladder inspections.
- Promote a positive safety culture and participate in relevant safety-related meetings and activities (e.g. 4 ASA meetings per year, weekly safety tours with follow-up reporting).
- Coordinate risk assessments and health & safety initiatives across the business unit.
- Develop and implement safe work processes in line with local legislation and company standards.
- Conduct incident investigations and prepare relevant reports.
- Monitor leading and lagging safety indicators and advise the business accordingly.
- Coordinate the execution of BU Top Risks and associated Roadmap initiatives.
- Support the preparation of monthly safety reports and presentations.
- Lead or support health and safety campaigns required by the group and/or plant.
Your Profile:
- 5+ years in a SHE function in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in training others on SHE topics
- Knowledge of relevant local legislation and ISO
- Effective, adaptive, and transparent communication style
- Strong interpersonal and multicultural skills
- Self-organized and structured way of working
- Fluent in English and German
- University degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
- NEBOSH general certificate or similar qualification
- Passion for sustainability
