The Plant Controller (m/f/d) plays a key role in safeguarding the financial performance. This position is responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, driving budget and forecast processes, supporting investment and cost analysis, and ensuring compliance with internal and external financial standards. Acting as a financial partner to the plant’s operational team, the Controller provides insightful analyses and helps optimize profitability, efficiency, and long-term business success.
Your mission:
- Prepare and analyse monthly closing reports, forecasts, and budgets on time and with high quality
- Support reporting under IFRS and consolidation processes in line with internal guidelines
- Contribute to all accounting-related activities in close collaboration with the finance team
- Drive the outlook and budget planning process within the plant
- Actively improve profitability reporting
- Work closely with the local management team to understand and follow up on deviations from budget and/or forecast
- Support continuous improvement of workflows and processes through strong end-to-end business understanding
- Prepare ad-hoc analyses and management presentations
Your profile:
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, or a comparable field, ideally with a focus on manufacturing finance
- Minimum of three years of professional experience in a finance-related role with a strong emphasis on analysis and controlling
- Solid understanding of financial principles and accounting, combined with strong analytical skills
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; high IT affinity and ideally experience with SAP (especially CO/PA)
- Structured, detail-oriented, and self-driven working style with a high level of initiative
- Strong team orientation, openness, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders in a plant environment
- Fluency in English is required; very good knowledge of German is expected
