Your Responsibilities

  • Providing guidance and coaching to several sites on labor and employee relations across sites to enhance employee engagement and recruitment, improve retention and increase manager and employee self-service. 
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Leads/facilitates Mondi talent management processes including performance management, talent development, and leadership development programs.
  • Identifies opportunities to enhance recruitment processes, engagement, retention, and employer branding.  
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Our Requirements

  • At least 7-10 years of human resource management experience with demonstrated growth in role scope and complexity.
  • Experience working in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
  • Experience working in a decentralized and distributed environment.
  • SHRM-CP or -SCP, a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Spanish language is a plus.
  • Demonstrated use of HRIS enterprise-wide platforms; experience with SAP/Success Factors is desirable. 
  • Must be willing to travel domestically approximately20-30%.  Infrequent but occasional international travel a possibility.   

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
