Position Summary:
The US Sales Excellence Manager role will drive sales excellence throughout the US Paper Bags sales organization by helping to standardize and improve the use of sales processes, tools and data with the goal to increase efficiency, provide insights and professionalism within the sales organization. This position, reports into the VP Sales US Paper Bags with regular interfaces between stakeholder functions such as Marketing, Sales, Finance and Operations. This position is located and will work at the Romeoville, IL office and may have occasional travel to manufacturing sites across the US.
Your Mission:
- Sales and Market Analytics - Develop sales data and analytics for the sales team and VP of Sales, including budget reporting, sales forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Market Insights & Industry Data - Analyze US & import market data, PSSMA industry information, and SAP COPA data to generate insights and improvement plans.
- Sales Reporting - Track monthly sales gains/losses, identify key drivers, and collaborate with the sales team to implement action plans.
- Sales Excellence & Process Improvement - Drive functional excellence by training and coaching the US sales team on sales tools (CRM, SAP Sales Cloud Analytics, Forecast tool) and improving sales operations.
- Sales Pipeline & Account Coverage - Ensure quality and tracking of the sales pipeline, support account coverage, and assist sales managers with presentations and strategy development.
- Key Account & Strategy Support - Assist in customer and market mapping, support Key Account Managers, and contribute to “go-to-market” sales strategies.
- Marketing Communications - Work with US sales leadership and marketing teams to align marketing efforts with business strategy and promote the Mondi US Paper Bags brand via digital marketing.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree (MBA considered a plus).
- 7-10 years demonstrated in sales support or marketing support, commercial operations experience (sales, marketing) or consulting background.
- Excellent mastery of commercial tools, processes, strategic synthesis/concepts and MS Office Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
- Proficient in SAP Cloud Analytics and CRM platforms (preferably SAP version)
- Superior business sense and commercial/strategic understanding.
- Proficient at analyzing data to create insights and action plans that drive results
- Financial literacy - Financial knowledge for P&L and margin/price decision-making.
- Knowledge of relevant applications, value chains and factors determining product needs, key buying factors and value drivers.
- Fluent in English. (Second language considered a plus
