Summary:
The Corporate Controller is responsible for the financial reporting of the Americas region, covering the United States, Mexico, and Colombia. This role owns the accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of the consolidated regional financial package, including close, consolidation, budgeting and forecasting, and external reporting.
Reporting directly to the Vice President, Finance, the Corporate Controller serves as the primary owner of regional financial reporting and systems accuracy. The role has direct, hands-on responsibility for execution and governance across the U.S. operations and works in close partnership with regional finance leadership in Mexico and Colombia, who retain local execution authority.
The Corporate Controller collaborates closely with these teams to ensure all required inputs, analysis, and explanations are delivered to support a complete, high-quality regional reporting package for senior leadership and Group Finance. The position requires strong coordination, disciplined follow-through, and a high standard of analytical and executive-level communication.
This role is central to ensuring financial accuracy, reporting credibility, and operational transparency across a multi-country manufacturing footprint. It offers meaningful exposure to senior leadership, Group Finance, and international operations, with clear ownership and accountability at the core of the region’s financial reporting engine.
Your Mission:
Financial Close & Reporting

Own and manage the monthly close process across U.S. operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to the close calendar

Coordinate regional close activities with Mexico and Colombia, ensuring alignment of timing, standards, and deliverables

Lead close coordination calls and proactively resolve issues or deviations

Own execution of half-year and year-end close cycles, including all Group reporting requirements
Consolidation & Financial Systems

Own the monthly consolidation process in the company’s Oracle-based Group consolidation and reporting system

Ensure full reconciliation and alignment between the consolidation system and the site-level ERP (SAP)

Identify, investigate, and resolve system discrepancies across entities, countries, and platforms

Act as the subject-matter expert for ERP-to-consolidation reporting flows, controls, and data integrity

Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, controls, and system usage
Balance Sheet Governance

Execute and oversee balance sheet reconciliations for the Romeoville Head Office in accordance with internal governance standards

Ensure reconciliations follow approved templates, prescribed logic, and are completed on time

Lead quarterly balance sheet reviews with U.S. manufacturing sites and coordinate reviews with Mexico and Colombia

Track findings, ensure remediation, and reinforce consistent accounting treatment and control frameworks across the region
Budgeting & Forecasting (Outlook)

Own the annual budget and periodic forecast (Outlook) processes for the Romeoville Head Office

Coordinate and ensure the successful completion of budgeting and forecasting activities across the U.S., Mexico, and Colombia, including validation of assumptions and consolidation of results

Ensure alignment between budget, forecast, actuals, and reported financial performance

Partner with site finance teams and Sales to ensure assumptions are operationally grounded and analytically sound
Group, External & Census Reporting

Own the reporting relationship with Group Finance (Vienna) for routine and ad-hoc submissions

Prepare clear, insight-driven financial analysis and executive-level commentary aligned with Group standards

Manage Census and other external or statutory reporting requirements, coordinating inputs across the region
Audit & Compliance

Lead the annual external audit process, including audit planning, coordination with sites, preparation of supporting documentation, and resolution of audit questions

Coordinate internal audit activities, serving as the primary point of contact for internal audit teams and ensuring timely, accurate responses to requests

Ensure audit findings (internal and external) are addressed promptly and that corrective actions and control enhancements are implemented where required
Site & Cross-Functional Engagement

Maintain regular, hands-on engagement with U.S. manufacturing sites, serving as a key finance partner while enforcing reporting discipline

Work closely with finance leadership in Mexico and Colombia to ensure consistent application of reporting standards and timely delivery of required inputs

Partner with Sales on budgeting, forecasting, and volume-driven financial analysis

Reinforce disciplined execution, system integrity, and standardized processes across the region
Your Profile:
-
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
-
8+ years of progressive experience in accounting, controlling, or financial reporting roles.

Strong experience with SAP or similar ERP systems and financial consolidation platforms.

Proven ownership of close, consolidation, budgeting/forecasting, and audit processes.

Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.

Travel up to 30%

Highly execution-focused and detail-oriented; comfortable working deep in financial systems.

Strong understanding of balance sheet integrity, financial controls, and reporting governance.

Able to translate complex financial data into clear, concise analysis for senior leadership.

Comfortable partnering with plant-level teams while maintaining strong financial discipline.

Self-directed, accountable, and able to operate independently in a high-expectation environment.
