Your Mission

 

  • Performing specialised boiler making and maintenance duties on plant and equipment.
  • Conducting technical diagnostic activities, including testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, fault finding, measuring, checking, and recording results to:
    • Reduce equipment downtime
    • Minimise breakdowns
    • Improve plant and equipment availability
  • Executing periodic prescribed audits and inspections related to all boiler making aspects to minimise the risk of equipment failure.
  • Operating and executing all tasks safely and in strict compliance with operating procedures, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Performing preventative maintenance activities on plant and equipment to support operational continuity and reliability.

 

Your profile

 

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Boilermaker within a manufacturing environment.
  • N3 qualification or equivalent
  • Boilermaker Trade Test qualification.
  • Experience within the pulp and paper manufacturing industry will be an advantage.
  • SAP knowledge will be advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) will be advantageous.
