Your profile

 

  • Higher education (preferably technical, graphic or related fields).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position at a manufacturing company
    or 3 years of experience in a subordinate position within the Company.
  • Preferred: 3 years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing company and at least one year of experience in the packaging industry.
  • Communicative level of English.
  • Category B driving licence.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office and technical software:
    AutoCAD (or equivalent), Corel, Cape Pack, Adobe Illustrator.
  • Additional assets: knowledge of Impact, Adobe Photoshop.
  • Very good knowledge of technical drawing.
  • Understanding of packaging production processes, material characteristics and machinery.
  • Spatial imagination and basic knowledge of descriptive geometry.
  • Experience in project management and 3D visualisation.
  • Ability to manage technical and colour-related projects.
  • High motivation, initiative and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to manage a team, motivate employees and build authority.
  • Negotiation and organisational skills, as well as decision‑making ability.
  • Stress resilience, flexibility and ability to anticipate challenges.
  • Effective communication skills with various personality types.
  • Compliance with procedures and standards resulting from ISO 9001, 45001, 14001, 28000, SA8000 and BRC systems.

 

Your responsibilities

 

  • Supervising and coordinating the work of the Product Development Department in the area of packaging design.
  • Developing packaging structures and technical documentation.
  • Participating in the development of the BEST DESIGN CATALOG packaging database.
  • Optimising packaging costs and functionality.
  • Ensuring proper technical condition of the department’s equipment and tools.
  • Supervising documentation archiving in accordance with applicable procedures.
  • Training, evaluating and motivating subordinate employees.
  • Cooperating with customers and internal departments: Quality, Customer Service, Sales and Production.
  • Implementing supply chain security policies and objectives within the department.
  • Supervising the functioning of the Supply Chain Security System.
  • Complying with procedures and standards resulting from ISO 9001, 45001, 14001, 28000, SA8000 and BRC systems.
