Your Mission

  • Mount all necessary jobs.
  • Demount all jobs, wash and store plates.
  • Clean aniloxes.  
  • Ability to read proofs. 
  • Track inventory of press supplies, i.e., inks, solvents, plates, sleeves. Inspect and ensure fit for use
  • Operations will include the use of various hand tools and equipment such as, scales, micrometers, mounting, cleaning, and computer operated Flexo printing presses.  
  • The use, knowledge and disposal of hazardous materials such as various solvents and inks.  
  • Accurate completion of various reports and centerlines including daily production report and specification sheets.  
  • Maintains equipment in proper working condition and communicates to maintenance and his/her operator, supervisor or team leader when equipment is in need of maintenance.
  • Maintains good housekeeping within 5S standard.
  • Oversee hazardous waste satellite / accumulation areas and ensure regulatory agency compliance i.e. labeling, containment, disposal, documentation, etc.
  • Plan and perform a sequence of operations where standard or recognized methods may not be available.  
  • Care in the set-up and operation of print press.  
  • Ability to distinguish color and print defects
  • Must have knowledge of the metric system, and possess the ability to convert from U.S. to metric.

 

Your Profile 

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Mechanical skills, good hand eye coordination
  • Attention to detail, safety, and quality 
  • Ability to work in an environment with strong odors and hazardous material
  • Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts
  • Must be able to life and carry materials up to 60 pounds. 
  • Ability to sit or stand for lengthy periods of time
  • Repetative motion involcing hands/figures 
  • Basic computer knowledge is necessary
