Your Mission

  • Review, screen, prioritize, and plan approved maintenance work orders before scheduling
  • Develop complete job plans including scope, job steps, labor, estimated duration, parts, tools, special equipment, permits, LOTO requirements, and contractor support
  • Prepare weekly and daily maintenance schedules with Production and Maintenance leadership to minimize production disruption
  • Coordinate planned outages, shutdown work, and major maintenance events, including task sequencing and resource loading
  • Maintain a ready backlog of planned work and communicate constraints that prevent execution
  • Communicate directly with Production regarding priorities, downtime windows, schedule changes, work status, and completion results
  • Create, maintain, and improve preventive maintenance plans, procedures, and frequencies in the CMMS
  • Monitor PM compliance, schedule adherence, overdue PMs, and repeat corrective work generated from inspections
  • Support predictive maintenance activities including vibration, thermography, ultrasound, oil analysis, and condition-based inspections where applicable
  • Analyze PM effectiveness and recommend task or frequency changes based on equipment history, failure modes, and operational risk
  • Maintain accurate CMMS records including assets, work orders, PMs, job plans, BOMs, labor estimates, failure codes, and completion notes
  • Generate maintenance KPIs and reports including PM compliance, schedule compliance, planned versus reactive work, backlog status, downtime trends, work order aging, maintenance cost, and contractor spend
  • Coach requestors and technicians on the information required for complete, actionable work orders and quality closure notes
  • Coordinate with Purchasing and Stores to verify parts availability before work is placed on the schedule
  • Identify critical spares and recommend stocking levels based on equipment criticality, usage history, lead time, and downtime risk
  • Assist with quote requests, vendor follow-up, contractor scope definition, and service coordination
  • Confirm contractor readiness, including safety orientation, permits, insurance and documentation, site access, and execution timing
  • Review equipment history and failure trends to identify chronic issues, frequent offenders, and reliability improvement opportunities
  • Participate in root cause analysis, corrective action planning, and development of replacement or upgrade recommendations
  • Support capital projects and Management of Change activities with maintenance history, asset information, PM requirements, spare-parts needs, and job-planning input
  • Maintain organized, audit-ready maintenance documentation aligned with site standards, ISO requirements, and controlled-document practices
  • Promote safe, planned, and proactive maintenance practices across the site


Your Profile

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of industrial maintenance, maintenance planning, or manufacturing maintenance experience
  • Working knowledge of CMMS work-order processes and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to read and understand basic mechanical and electrical drawings, maintenance instructions, and safety requirements
  • Preferred: Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field
  • Preferred: Experience in packaging, film extrusion, converting, continuous manufacturing, or a process-industry environment
  • Preferred: eMaint experience and strong Excel reporting, data-analysis, and KPI-tracking skills
  • Must be fluent in the use of personal computers and possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated planning, organization, prioritization, and attention to detail in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to coordinate competing plant needs and communicate clearly with Maintenance, Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Stores, vendors, and contractors
  • Ability to work independently and within a team while maintaining accurate records and meeting schedule commitments
  • Ability to use equipment history, downtime, and repeat-failure data to support sound maintenance decisions
  • Ability to exercise judgment when work scope, safety requirements, materials, or production availability are incomplete
  • Routine work in office, production, and facility areas
  • Inside and outside work in varying temperatures and noise levels with required personal protective equipment
  • Ability to routinely walk through production and facility areas to review work scope, equipment condition, and job readiness
  • Able to climb of stairs or ladders occasionally and access to equipment areas as permitted by site safety procedures
  • Lifting or carrying up to 30 pounds
  • May be required to support planned outages, shutdowns, or off-shift work planning as business needs require
