Your Mission
- Builds, maintains, patches, monitors and repairs our datacenter infrastructure. Includes VMware platform that serves manufacturing, graphics and office facilities
- Direct responsibility for creating, updating, and maintaining virtual servers utilizing VMware/vSphere/vCenter/vMotion tools and consoles
- Troubleshoots and resolves infrastructure issues ensuring that network infrastructure is operational
- Works in coordination with desktop teams for availability and upgrades of desktops and supporting equipment. This includes shopfloor applications that are connected to virtual servers
- Develops and maintains documentation on infrastructure, software, systems, and disaster recovery methodology
- Responsible for applying, testing, and provisioning of Windows Server updates and other application fixes/patches
- Provides input to budget, purchase, and implementation of datacenter hardware and software
- Establish and enhance strong working relationships with various internal teams, global resources/counterparts, and external suppliers
- Perform power cycles, swap out failed components, handle storage media, and perform troubleshooting
- Monitor the infrastructure and applications to ensure uptime and performance
- Perform cable installations, hardware rack / stack installations, testing, and troubleshooting using standard datacenter processes
- Supporting deployment of on-site DC physical infrastructure including Servers, SANS, and Window Server OS
- Assists with provisioning, configuring, and administering network infrastructure
- Implement and lead continuous integration, automated testing, configuration management, release management, deployment, cloud hosting, and systems monitoring
- Support incoming server incidents and request tickets in cooperation with support teams
- Administer and troubleshoot OS-level issues in a VM environment as well as hardware problems on physical servers
- Manage Print Server queues, drivers, and Active Directory changes required for daily operations
- Responsible for data backups, storage, and retention utilizing cloud and local methods
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
- Experience in technical project management, utilizing PMBOK techniques and toolsets
- Working knowledge of manufacturing operations, production, and computer data collection systems
- Working knowledge of enterprise networks, vLANs, cabling, connectivity, and Cloud Computing
- Experience with storage arrays, SANs, cloud, Netapp and cloud storage
- Thorough understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft DNS, IIS, Virtualization, SharePoint, and MS Teams
- Extensive working knowledge of network administration, including routing protocols, security protocols, and VPN technologies, DNS architecture, design, and administration experience
- Experience with VMWare, ESX Server with Virtual Center, and vSphere
- Requires travel to support other Mondi locations
- Flexibility to work non-business hours that may include weekends and/or holidays
- Manufacturing and office environment
- Office based onsite at Mondi Jackson location, no remote work
