Your Mission
- Competence with Program Logic Controllers. (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Omron and B&R)
- Ability to modify, troubleshoot, and read multiple PLC platforms. (S5, S7, Tia Protocol, RS Logix)
- Ability to modify HMI Interfaces. (Red Lion, Siemens, Allen-Bradley)
- Ability to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and program drives VFDs and Servos. (Siemens, Lenze, B&R, Allen-Bradley)
- Ability to document and create electrical schematics for all new projects and equipment modifications
- Understanding and analyze technical specifications of electro-mechanical systems including electrical schematics, PIDs, interconnect diagrams
- Understanding of OsiPi and Linking tags from PLC to OPC
- Understanding of industrial power circuits, installation practices, and general OSHA Safety
- Understanding of networking protocols and hardware (switches, routers, firewalls)
- Understanding of Robotics
- Communicate with machine operators, understand and have a working knowledge of equipment to detect equipment problems, analyze malfunctions, and verify system problems
- Troubleshooting and repair of production machines, reading electrical and electronic schematics
- Maintain all electrical plant and production operations to ensure continuous production
- Responsible for the proper performance of assignments and the prudent handling of product, tools and equipment
- Perform unusual and difficult work where standard methods may not be available
- Experience in trouble shooting complex control systems and microprocessor theory, AC/DC circuits, digital controls, PLC’s, electrical and mechanical schematics and have a mechanical aptitude
- Calibrating sensors, overload protection devices, and mechanical adjustments for electrical devices.
- Experience with CMMS systems
- Experience with Microsoft Office software. (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Work within TPM environment
- Perform mechanical repairs as requested
- Works with limited or no supervision
Your Profile
- Minimum of five years’ experience as an industrial electrician focused in the repair and trouble-shooting of manufacturing equipment or three years’ experience and two years technical training in electronics/electrical
- Electrical education
- Knowledge and/or experience with computerized equipment
- Prior industrial electrical experience in manufacturing setting
- Mechanical fundamentals
- Ability to work inside and outdoors
- Comfortable at heights of up to 75 feet
- Day Shift, 7:30a-4:00p
