The Asset Integrity Expert (m/f/d) ensures the reliability, safety, and efficiency of key manufacturing assets across corrugated and solid board plants and leads asset lifecycle and energy management, drives preventive and predictive maintenance, and ensures compliance. This position acts as a strategic partner to plant teams and external experts to support operational performance and long-term asset integrity.
Your mission:
- Shape and lead regional asset integrity programs to safeguard the performance of critical equipment across corrugated and solid board plants
- Strengthen plant reliability through smart preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
- Bring technical depth to root cause analysis and drive effective, lasting solutions for equipment issues
- Evaluate asset risks and performance, and steer improvement initiatives with high impact on safety, uptime, and cost-efficiency
- Contribute to strategic decisions on capital investments, refurbishments, and replacements
- Define technical standards and lead equipment upgrades in close collaboration with OEMs and cross-functional teams
Your profile:
- Degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field, with 3+ years of experience in asset integrity, maintenance, or reliability—preferably in the corrugated or manufacturing industry
- Solid technical knowledge of corrugated equipment and key reliability methodologies such as RCM, FMEA, and performance optimisation
- Proven ability to increase equipment reliability, reduce unplanned downtime, and support strategic asset investment decisions
- Skilled in analysing failure data, identifying root causes, and implementing sustainable corrective actions
- Fluent in English, able to communicate clearly across both technical and operational teams; German language skills are advantageous
- Strong collaborator, experienced in working with plant personnel, technical teams, and external stakeholders such as suppliers and insurers
- Hands-on, results-driven personality with a high level of resilience and a passion for driving improvement across functions and hierarchies
