Your mission
The Human Resources Manager will be a strategic business partner to the plant leadership and provides support to the employees. This role has primary accountability for the overall success, effectiveness, and efficiency of the Human Resources function at the facility. The role will support key stake holders to improve organizational capability, drive change, define organizational needs, and resolve employee relations issues. The role will manage employee relations at the plant and partner with corporate HR on strategy and talent processes.
- Being a strategic partner at the plant leadership level and ensuring alignment of HR processes with overall HR strategic and operating goals.
- Provide employee relations counseling and problem solving for managers and employees to ensure a productive work environment, remaining consistent with company values and policies and in adherence to state and federal regulatory law.
- Champion employee engagement.
- Drive talent programs such as employee development, career development and succession planning.
- Manage all aspects of recruitment and on-boarding.
- Manage site payroll, compensation, and benefits administration functions.
- Determine site training needs and identify appropriate training resources.
- Document, communicate, and apply policies and procedures to ensure fair and consistent treatments of all employees.
Your profile

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience
- 5+ years of Human Resources management experience
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, a plus
- Ability to coach employees and management through complex issues and make recommendations that are consistent with policies, procedures, and government laws.
- Ability to be responsive and persuasive at all levels of the organization.
- Able to work with others in a team-oriented environment both at the site and corporate level.
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks in an effective manner with attention to detail.
- Able to organize work, manage time and workload with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated knowledge/experience of federal and state employment laws and other government compliance regulations
- Experience with Success Factors and ADP or similar payroll and HRIS systems.
