Your Mission 

  • Ability to efficiently assist in the operation of lift trucks. 
  • Performs housekeeping duties in work area, including sweeping, mopping, picking up, forklift truck clean, and disposing of trash.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with all levels of employees and management.
  • Safely move material to and from storage, machines and finished goods areas.
  • Operate forklift to transport materials to and from storage areas, workstations, and within other areas of assignment.
  • Load, transport, unload and stack materials in accordance with established procedures.
  • Communicate non-compliance and/or quality problems to supervisor.
  • Ability to read and understand material labels and work orders.
  • Knowledge of and ability to comply with safety rules and requirements.
  • Knowledge of and ability to comply with forklift training.

Your Profile

  • Manufacturing experience strongly preferred. 
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Work schedules are normally 8 or 12 hours.
  • May be scheduled for rotating days off.
  • Must be able to work any scheduled times, including overnight and weekend shifts.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed, including extra hours on short notice.
  • Standing for extended periods.
  • Awkward and/or repetitive movements.
  • Climbing ladders and/or stairways.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. repeatedly and up to 50 lbs. frequently for up to 12 hours. 
  • Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.
  • Use of various hand and electrical tools and equipment.
  • Work in areas of fluctuating temperature.
  • Required to wear personal protective equipment (including but not limited to steel toe shoes, earplugs, safety glasses, and hairnet)
  • Ability to use hand truck, drum dolly, and electric pallet jack as needed
  • Regularly works near moving mechanical parts.
