Your Mission
- Ability to efficiently assist in the operation of lift trucks.
- Performs housekeeping duties in work area, including sweeping, mopping, picking up, forklift truck clean, and disposing of trash.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate with all levels of employees and management.
- Safely move material to and from storage, machines and finished goods areas.
- Operate forklift to transport materials to and from storage areas, workstations, and within other areas of assignment.
- Load, transport, unload and stack materials in accordance with established procedures.
- Communicate non-compliance and/or quality problems to supervisor.
- Ability to read and understand material labels and work orders.
- Knowledge of and ability to comply with safety rules and requirements.
- Knowledge of and ability to comply with forklift training.
Your Profile
- Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Work schedules are normally 8 or 12 hours.
- May be scheduled for rotating days off.
- Must be able to work any scheduled times, including overnight and weekend shifts.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed, including extra hours on short notice.
- Standing for extended periods.
- Awkward and/or repetitive movements.
- Climbing ladders and/or stairways.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. repeatedly and up to 50 lbs. frequently for up to 12 hours.
- Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.
- Use of various hand and electrical tools and equipment.
- Work in areas of fluctuating temperature.
- Required to wear personal protective equipment (including but not limited to steel toe shoes, earplugs, safety glasses, and hairnet)
- Ability to use hand truck, drum dolly, and electric pallet jack as needed
- Regularly works near moving mechanical parts.
