Packaging Dispatch Lead

Your mission:

 

  • Manage and monitor departmental health, safety, environmental and quality aspects.
  • Ensuring sound and effective financial management.
  • Building solid customer and supplier relationships.
  • Developing operational dispatch plans aligned to strategic objectives of the Finishing BU.
  • Display a passion for performance, maintain and improve practices and systems to realize organizational goals.
  • Dispatch specific support in planning, delivering and controlling of departmental targets.
  • Business Improvement initiation and implementation.
  • Effective and efficient reporting to enable strategic decision-making.
  • Effective people management.
  • Logistics and operational planning.
  • Working knowledge of production process.
  • Proficient with MS Office, MIS, SAP, Shop floor and Voyager programs.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Sound Interpersonal skills.
  • Diagnostic and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Mill Safety Standards (Polices & Procedures), OSH Act and ISO systems.
  • Continuous improvement acumen.

 

Your profile:

 

  • Degree in Engineering/Supply Chain Management / Logistics / Operations / Production qualification.
  • 5 to 10 years’ experience in logistics in a specialist, supervisor or senior role with specific reference to the related leadership competencies within a heavy manufacturing environment in the Pulp and Paper industry.
