You mission:
- Operate condition monitoring equipment by collecting data and analyzing
- Suggesting Preventive Measures or timeline to repair to avoid Production loss
- Generating condition monitoring reports and work orders, and following –up
- Participating and supporting RCFA’s that are condition monitoring related
- Recording of condition monitoring history and completed technical investigations
- Review Tribology reports and suggesting preventive/corrective measures
- Conduction Infra-red surveys, generating relevant reports and suggesting preventive/corrective measures
- Improve mean time between failures (MTBF) by identifying equipment that have a short life cycle and identifying and recommend improvements to increase MTBF of equipment
- Participate in the implementation of upgrades and projects, doing specialized work
- Maintain a high level of safety awareness
- Assist with reviewing and recommend adjustments of preventive Maintenance activities and condition monitoring routines to increase the availability and reliability of equipment
- Assist with development of preventive Maintenance measures to reduce the planned and unplanned maintenance work / breakdowns
Your profile:
- 3 – 5 years’ experience as a qualified mechanical artisan with two years’ experience as a Condition Monitoring Technician in a manufacturing environment preferably in Pulp and Paper
- Minimum of N5 in Mechanical or Electrical engineering
- Trade Tested Artisan Fitter or Millwright
- Vibration Analysis CAT Level 1
- Thermography CAT Level 1 will be advantageous
- Tribology – Lubrication Level 1 or similar
- Code 08 / EB license
