Your mission:
- Be responsible for the overall management of all operational departments at the Mondi Duino plant. This includes end-to-end responsibility for the production process, from raw material processing to finished product output, as well as the maintenance function;
- Direct and manage all aspects of daily manufacturing operations and maintenance;
- Develop and execute production strategies to achieve volume, cost, and quality targets;
- Lead and develop production managers, supervisors, and employees, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence;
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in line with Mondi’s operational excellence methodologies;
- Drive implementation of Mondi Management System (MMS) on site;
- Monitor key production KPIs and implement corrective actions to ensure consistent performance;
- Develop and manage production budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures;
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies;
- The position reports directly to the Managing Director.
Your profile:
- 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership or director-level role;
- Master’s degree in Paper Technology, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related technical field; alternatively, a full degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Process Engineering;
- Solid understanding of production equipment, including location, function, and operating principles within a manufacturing environment;
- Strong understanding of paper and PfR processes, equipment and quality systems;
- Prior experience in the paper and/or mechanical manufacturing industry;
- Proven managerial and leadership capabilitie;
- Track record in implementing CI initiatives;
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and people development capabilities;
- Excellent spoken and written Italian and English skills.
