Summary:
The Services Manager will be responsible for leading, motivating, and supporting Customer Service, Logistics, Procurement, Materials and Production Planning teams by exceeding goals by monitoring and controlling: day-to-day customer service activities, logistics/shipments, customer support/communication, Purchasing, Materials and scheduling of production orders to meet the needs of the Customer.
Your Mission:

Supervise employees in the day-to-day operations for effective work in the 5 areas: Customer Service, Logistics, Purchasing, Materials and Production Planning

Maintain and improve customer service and support through effective communication with internal and external parties
-
Directly interface w/ customers as well as members of the sales team

Focus on efficiently running the production schedule to drive OEE and general plant efficiency
-
Maintain Raw Materials (RM) and Finished Goods (FG) inventory to appropriate levels
-
Where applicable, maintain contractual agreements with customers; where not applicable, support implementation of these agreements
-
Actively monitor outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Control reporting of order intake, backlog, and on time & complete deliveries
-
Collaborate with Planning and Operations team to ensure process flow requirements are met in an efficient manner

Train, motivate, and mentor employees (both new and existing employees)

Conduct performance evaluations which include yearly performance evaluations for all direct reports

Maintain all required logs and reporting documents and adhere to all SHE regulations, procedures and policies

Enforces company policies, quality procedures, and Good Manufacturing Polices (GMPs)

Control labor expenses associated with the affected areas

Provide support for on-the-job assignments and continuous improvement initiatives
-
Ensure competition compliance with respect to this position and interactions therein

Maintain a positive working environment among employees
-
Reviews, updates, and approves employee’s timesheets

Participate in monthly update/review meetings
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Your Profile:
-
At least 5 years manufacturing (Scheduling/Planning/Service background required)
-
A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent and applicable work-related experience. Strong communication and negotiation skills required
-
Previous experience with Lean, Six Sigma or other relevant continuous improvement methods preferred (not required)
-
Technical Training preferred.

Industrial Safety Training preferred
-
Familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.

Willingness to work flexible schedules as needed
-
Occasional travel as needed regionally and internationally

Must be able to use the following computer programs: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
