About Mondi

At Mondi, we offer packaging and paper solutions designed to support a circular economy. We've grown from a single paper mill to a global leader in sustainable packaging and paper, with our 24,000 employees working across 100+ production sites in more than 30 countries

We combine strong industrial heritage with continuous drive to innovate and create products that help our customers make more sustainable choices every day.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Customer Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our paper supply chain operations. In this role, you will be the key link between European paper mills and our B2B converting partners across the USA. You will manage the end-to-end logistics, sales order fulfillment, communication, and administration required to ensure seamless international product flow and reliable domestic distribution.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in US import regulations, domestic logistics, and sales order management. You will thrive in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment and possess the communication skills needed to bridge operations between Europe and North America.

Your Mission

Coordination & Logistics Management

  • Manage End-to-End Logistics: Oversee the international transport of paper products from European mills to US ports, and the final delivery to US converters
  • Domestic Distribution: Coordinate inland freight, warehousing, and final-mile distribution within the USA to meet converter production schedules
  • Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels and delivery timelines to prevent supply chain disruptions or production delays

Sales Order Management & Administration

  • Order Fulfillment: Oversee the full lifecycle of sales orders from initial receipt and entry to final delivery confirmation and billing
  • Import Documentation: Ensure all international shipping documents, customs filings, and regulatory paperwork comply with US import laws
  • Data Integrity: Maintain accurate sales orders, logistics data, KPIs, and freight cost records within company systems

Communication & Stakeholder Alignment

  • Cross-Continental Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between European manufacturing mills, freight forwarders, US customs brokers, and domestic B2B converters
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, carriers, and internal global sales and operations teams
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively identify transport delays or supply gaps and co-operate on implementation of swift corrective actions to keep converters informed

Your Profile

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management or customer service
  • Proven track record handling ocean freight imports into the USA and navigating US Customs regulations
  • Experience with U.S. domestic freight operations, including full truckload (FTL), less-than-truckload (LTL), and intermodal shipping
  • Proven experience managing high-volume B2B sales order administration and customer delivery tracking, with a strong understanding of international trade terms (Incoterms), maritime shipping, cross-border commerce, and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across diverse cultures and global time zones
  • Proficiency with SAP (SD/Sales & Distribution and MM/Materials Management modules)
  • Experience in a high-volume B2B commodity industry (e.g., paper, packaging, steel, chemicals, or agricultural products)
  • Experience working within a global, multicultural organization supporting collaboration between U.S. and European operations are highly preferred but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred
