This role involves but is not limited to:
- Providing general administrative support to the wider Finance team.
- Managing the receivables ledger including journal entries, reconciliations,
- Data entry, receivables invoicing and processing, handling customer queries and credit.
- Raw Material Invoicing to documentation and filing and supplier queries.
- Communication with customer/supplier finance teams for creating accounts, credit notes and invoices, resolving disputes.
- Managing Credit control including liaising with insurance, communication with customers, and setup of credit limits.
- Handling daily queries from other departments within the Company.
- Filing and organisation of finance records.
- Any ad hoc items delegated by Finance manager.
Requirements:
- Aptitude to learn and develop in a Finance career.
- Solid credit control skills.
- Previous administration experience, with proven ability to plan and prioritise.
- Accuracy working with numerical data, and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work under own initiative, multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Intermediate/advanced MS Excel and good working knowledge of Microsoft suite.
- AAT part-qualified (desirable).
