As a Business Development Manager you will proactively identify and secure new business opportunities within a specified sales territory. You will drive sales growth by understanding customer needs and aligning our products and services to deliver tailored solutions.
Your mission:
- Drive increased business revenue by identifying and developing new opportunities
- Build and expand the company’s presence and brand
- Identify new markets and research emerging trends
- Develop a network of contacts to attract new customers
- Research and identify new business opportunities
- Communicate with and visit customers
- Manage a sales pipeline to meet annual sales targets
- Develop deep product knowledge
- Ensure customers receive the best experience
- Qualify leads and uncover client needs
- Develop and manage relationships with existing customers
- Report appropriately to the Sales & Business Development Director when required
- Promote and act in accordance with group policies, values, systems, and procedures
Your profile:
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
- Good understanding of the market and commercial acumen
- Proven ability to win new business, cross-sell, and retain existing clients with profitable margins
- Skilled in negotiating price changes with new and existing clients
- Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets
- Achievement-driven and able to work to set KPIs and expectations
- Previous experience in Business Development and Sales within a manufacturing environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient PC/computer skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver against deadlines
