Commercial Excellence Manager Central Europe (m/f/d)

Your mission

  • Establish and drive Commercial Excellence programs across all Central Europe plants and their respective sales teams
  • Drive the ongoing development and adoption related to new or improved processes, tools and data hygiene to unlock and sustain smart application of Commercial team’s time and effort, here in special, Role out Mondi’s digital pricing activities within Mondi Corrugated Solutions Central Europe (Austria, Germany, Czech Republic)
  • Align and deploy activities across the commercial organization that support increased commercial effectiveness and growth
  • Provide active indirect leadership supporting Plant Sales Directors and Key Account Manager in goal setting and continuous performance management
  • Work closely with local and regional sales and marketing teams to enhance and manage account selection, opportunity management, lead generation and management, pricing management, RFQ, RFIs and contracts as well as tender management processes
  • Work closely with the central market intelligence team and provide regular updates of our markets and competition. Deliver competitive teardowns to help plant to win in the marketplace
  • Develop, recommend, and monitor CRM and other sales management tools supporting the sales process; work with BU Commercial Excellence and IT to ensure system and tool alignment
  • Drive and support development and utilization of standardised sales reporting tools to enable commercial teams to accomplish growth strategies and visualize key performance indicators that provide performance feedback and leading indicators on sales activity, pipeline, demand, market trends, etc.
  • Develop and/or coordinate training development and delivery to support sales and commercial excellence activities, process improvement, and tools usage

 

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of sales and/or marketing experience, preferably in the packaging industry
  • Advanced skills in data analytics as well as familiarity with databases and sales software
  • Change agent with experience in driving business and commercial process improvement; proven knowledge of process improvement practices, methodologies, and implementation
  • Outstanding communicator – spoken, written, presentation; capable of presenting to high-level audiences and adjusting communication approach based on a variety of scenarios
  • German & English is a must, a third language beneficial
  • Must be competitive, accountable, and have pronounced leadership and strong negotiation skills, a relentless work ethic, and charisma.
  • Ability to foster strong relationships and influence within in a matrix organization to achieve business objectives. 
  • Ability to thrive in an agile organization with shifting priorities and time-sensitive deadlines
  • Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
